Supplier and company checks

A company check reads whether the identity and authority of the Chinese business that sent the offer, and the production information it describes, contradict the documents. A positive note is not a guarantee that the firm will deliver the same machine on every order.

Who it is for and what work is done

It is for buyers who have a proforma and want to see the seller before the order. China Desk TR places the shared trade name, address, authorised signature and the model code on the offer side by side. A name that contradicts a public record is marked separately. A site visit and a running test of the machine are not inside this service. Those belong to factory inspection.

Information requested, the process and the report

The customer is asked for the proforma, any catalogue page, the name of the person they correspond with and who the payment would be made to. The process is collecting the documents, listing the contradictions and writing the questions that remain open. The result is a check note. Writing “reviewed” in the note does not mean China Desk TR stands surety for the seller. If a document is missing, the note says that too.

Risks

Mixing up an intermediary and the manufacturer, invoicing in another name and a model code that does not match the catalogue put the order at risk. Using the check note in place of a bank credit decision or customs eligibility is wrong. China Desk TR does not present this note as an official registry document.

Is the check a registry certificate?

No. It looks at the consistency of the offer with publicly available information. It does not replace an official registry extract.

How is a request opened?

On the form the service is selected as “Company check”. The subject comes from this page.
