Finding a manufacturer in China
Finding a manufacturer in China is not a comparison of listing prices. A shortlist is meaningless until the need, capacity, delivery terms and documents sit on the same list. China Desk TR coordinates the search. It does not guarantee the manufacturer’s reliability, the price or the delivery time.
What the service is and who it is for
The service is a search for manufacturer and authorised-seller candidates in China for the machine or line a business in Türkiye has described. It suits manufacturers looking for a new CNC machining centre, a packaging line or a station to add to an existing line. It comes into play when the catalogue has no ready listing, or a listing does not meet the technical need. It is not an open commitment for every sector and every budget.
What does China Desk TR coordinate?
It turns the needs note into technical questions, asks candidate manufacturers for offers with the same scope, and makes the answers readable side by side. A factory visit, a sample or an inspection is a separate service. Payment, signing a contract and the customs declaration are not done in China Desk TR’s name. Presenting a manufacturer as reviewed does not mean that firm will deliver the same quality on every shipment.
The process, the documents and the result
The customer is asked at least for the purpose of use, any information on the current machine, the target capacity and the currency in which the budget range is being considered. A drawing or a sample makes the scope clearer. At the end, a shortlist, a summary of the replies and a note of which information is still missing can be shared. The price, the exchange rate and the freight are that day’s offer. They do not give the same total the next day.

The workpiece or product, capacity, tolerance, power, layout and delivery city are written down.

A proforma and a data sheet are requested from manufacturers pricing the same scope.
The comparison note
The model, the delivery term, excluded items and missing documents are noted. This note is not a binding offer.
Risks and frequent questions
The most common mistake is reading different scopes as if they were the same price. One offer includes tooling and software. Another prices only the frame. An advance payment should not be made before the model code is closed. China Desk TR is not an intermediary bank, a customs broker or the manufacturer’s representative.
How is a request opened?
The service request at the end of this page carries the “manufacturer search” service and the subject into the existing form. There is no new form.
